Gratitude
Gratitude is the soul of the word “thank you” *
Gratitude is a feeling that fills the heart and makes life more radiant, more vibrant.
Today is a special night: May’s full moon offers us an eclipse… I take advantage of this special energy to express my gratitude to the different people who have accompanied me or accompany me currently in this new life after almost 5 years of activity (non-exhaustive list without hierarchy between the persons mentioned!):
- myself: I have had the courage to completely make a change and undertake this “hero’s journey” listening to my soul. I gave myself this great gift that Reiki is (as well as the other disciplines that I practice) and thus I’m able to spread around me today Reiki, love, compassion and gratitude in order to contribute to transform the world into a better place where one is happy to live without hiding one’s deep nature;
- Thierry, my companion and lover: if you do not always share my vision of the world and of the energetic, you are always present by my side, without judgment, and support me with kindness, softness and love; you are a precious teacher to me and make me progress smoothly on my path of realization; thank you for having lead me to this new office where I feel so good;
my blood family: you are not always in tune with who I am and, at the same time, you do your best to adjust to this being that sometimes seems very foreign to you!- my soul family: we meet as we progress spiritually; you come in and out of my life for coming back in one way or anothe. This connection is such a great help. A special thought for my Soulmate Roger, who I met in Egypt in 2017 and who left this earthly plan in 2019 before we had time to meet again and to set up our projects to co-animate workshops together;
- the different writers and teachers who gave me so much material to integrate: Reiki, akashic memories, aura reading, oracle and tarot reading, bioanalogy, chromobiology, energy medicine, NLP, karmic release, Gene Keys to name a few…
- Regine: when I settled in, you helped me to transform a dark room into a nice bright and welcoming office; we also share many discussions on neuroscience and many other topics; a friendship has gradually developed and we enjoy hiking together on paths that are sometimes a bit chaotic;
- Pascale: your gentleness, your generosity and your kindness are precious; Gabrielle, whom you have offered me among other testimonies of friendship, always watches with love over my cabinet; our meetings and exchanges are always delightful!
- Annabelle: thanks to you and to your support, I found my first office and everything started so quickly;
- Dany: you have painted with great attention and enthusiasm the Tree of Life’trunk that is a major element of my office;
- Anne-Marie: you created and offered me a beautiful pottery to celebrate my activity’s beginnings;
- Marie-Paule: you have composed a beautiful frame with a woman holding the Gassho position, that is so central in the practice of Reiki;
- Nadege: your two canvases illuminate my cabinet with their beautiful vibrations;
- Eliane and Philippe: we shared our first care space and I started my practice with you; our exchanges were valuable for my personal learning;
- Nathalie: we met during a training course and you later taught me how to look at situations with the eyes of the caregiver and of the care recipent, before I offered Reiki volunteering at the hospital;
- Each and every one of you who came to the inauguration of my current office and brought your joyous hubbub;
- each person and each situation encountered during my personal and professional lives that allowed me, sometimes after a certain time, to see the magic of life and its teachings unfolding;
- to each and every client and student who comes to me and makes possible the accomplishment of my mission of life.

My Reiki experience with children
I have always felt close to children. From their youngest age, they themselves are: real, without any filter, without any judgment… and especially full of love!
During a Reiki session with a minor, the presence of a parent is asked. When fixing the appointment, the latter often gives me
the motives for this approach . From the initial stage of the session, I am talking exclusively with the child. During our exchange, he* gives me his point of view onto the situation that he’s experiencing. He describes his feelings, his fears, his stress, his obstacles or his pain. He expresses as well his hopes and his request towards a greater well-being… It is often a very revealing moment for the adult who is not always conscious of the world in which his child is living. After I have explained to the child the modalities of a Reiki session, I ask him for his agreement before processing. With no agreement, no Reiki.

Karuna® Reiki practitioner I & II
Last September, I have been attuned as a Karuna ® Reiki I & II practitioner.
Karuna ® Reiki was developped by William L. Rand, Usui Reiki Master. It is called as well “Reiki of Compassion”.
The meaning of Karuna donnée par W. L. Rand sur le site “The International Center for Reiki Training” is the following:
Karuna is a Sanskrit w
ord and is used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translanted to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as “compassionate action.” When individuals experience enlightenment, they report that all beings are known as one. Therefore, it is natural to extend compassionate action or Karuna to everyone without distinction because we are all one. As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit. Because of the oneness of all beings, it is understood that Karuna is not only extended to others out of love, but also because it is an entirely logical thing to do. In the same way that you would want to heal your own wounds, you would also want the wounds of others to heal. It is also stated in the Buddhist literature that Karuna must be accompanied by parjna or wisdom in order to have the right effect.
Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end suffering on Earth. They continually send an unlimited amount of healing energy and guidance to us, but not all are receptive to it. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, but you also become more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by all enlightened beings. Thus your healing is quickened as well.
Karuna Reiki® opens you to work more closely with all enlightened beings. This includes those enlightened ones who are physically present as well as those in spirit.
Karuna® Reiki is totally additional to Usui Reiki.
A twelve-month activity…
I officially started my Reiki healer’s activity on Thursday, September 1st, 2016 after a 15-day intensive work to fit out my cabinet, in the Thise-Chalezeule Z.I.
A big thank you to CB, NS and SR for their confidence ; they are the first people who received healing during the 3 first opening days.
End of April, for my birthday, I was attuned on the 3rd level and became an Usui Reiki Master.
Beginning of May, I went to Egypt with Oasis Voyage, along with an international group, for the Wezak celebration in Cairo with Don Ernesto Ortiz. Every visited site corresponded to a specific alignment on chakras, with very strong moments in energy: 
- in the Red Pyramid of Snefrou, on the funeral site of Dahchour in the South of Saqqarah,
- in Zeitoun Saint-Mark’s Church where the Virgin Mary appeared repeatedly between 1968 and 1970 to thousands of people (up to 250 000 people at the same time), of diverse confessions: Muslims, Christians, Jews, unbeliever,
- in the Saint-Mary Coptic church, called « suspended » (Al-Kanîsah al-Mu’allaqah or El Moallaqa),
- in the Cairo National Museum, in particular, as for me, in the Akhenaten room,
- and especially in the Great Pyramid of Giza, our trip culmination, on the Wezak day.
At the end of May, I attended the 12th French Congress of Usui Reiki that gathered in Evian 450 Reiki users (professionals or not); it allowed me to participate in numerous activities, to work on therapeutic sounds, to discover future scientific communications about Reiki, to exchange with peers and to go back home with new tools as the biomusic that accompanies from now on my care.
Today, I continue to discover the unlimited world of energy and to train to move forward on my personal and spiritual fulfillment path and to offer quality care to the people in demand.
By the end of September, my initiation into the levels 1 and 2 of Karuna ® Reiki is planned .
Gratitude to all the people (particularly, Chantal) and to the situations I faced that led me on this Reiki path that makes me profoundly happy.
My most sincere thanks to the numerous people who trusted me and came to receive care.
